ID Watermark
Write who a copy of your ID card, passport or payslip is for across it, so it can't be reused elsewhere, without uploading it
Drop your ID card, passport, payslip… or click to browse
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or PDF, one or several (the two sides of a card). It stays on your device: nothing is uploaded.
Watermark
Say who receives it and what for: a copy found elsewhere then shows it was taken from them.
Color
Enough to cover the whole page, light enough to read the name, photo and numbers through it.
The text is drawn into the pixels, across the whole page, so it can't be lifted off like a layer. An image comes out as a JPEG, without its metadata (camera, place); a PDF as images of its pages, its text no longer selectable.
A watermark deters reuse and shows where a leaked copy came from, it doesn't make it unusable. Some recipients (banks, identity checks) refuse watermarked copies: ask them how they protect yours.
