UUID Decoder

Read the version and creation date of a UUID or ULID, convert it to other formats, and make name-based UUIDs

Enter a UUID (8-4-4-4-12 hex digits), with or without hyphens, in braces or as urn:uuid:, its Base64 or its 128-bit integer, or a ULID.
Any form: with or without hyphens, in braces, urn:uuid:, Base64, a 128-bit integer, or a ULID.
Name-based UUID
The same namespace and name always give the same UUID, on any system. Prefer version 5; version 3 is for systems that already use it.
Bounds of a date
Enter a date between 1970 and the year 10889.
Every UUIDv7 or ULID made during that millisecond lies between its lowest and highest, so id >= lowest finds the rows created since then in a table keyed by them.
